3rd Anniversary of SSG Matt Maupin's Capture

From Cindy in Ohio:

I just wanted to remind everyone that today is the third anniversary of the capture of Ssgt. Matt Maupin. Where we live, the yellow ribbons have been replaced and there are several events planned to mark the occasion. His family is doing a lot with their Yellow Ribbon Support Center here. They've raised money for scholarships and also to buy computers so the troops can stay in touch with their families. Please say a prayer for Matt and his family.

Some of you may notice that his rank has changed throughout the years. When he was captured in 2004 he was a PFC. Since his capture he has been promoted 3 times and is now a SSG.

We will never forget. Until he comes home:

Thank you Cindy for the post!
